Edu-Lead was founded to empower colleges of pharmacy to attain their fullest potential through expert coaching and consulting services tailored to academic leadership. Our mission is to cultivate the next generation of academic leaders by equipping institutions with strategic insights, transformative leadership development, and values-driven guidance.

At the helm of Edu-Lead is Dr. Charles Taylor, PharmD, FNAP—an esteemed academic leader whose career spans decades of service in higher education. As the former Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and pharmacy dean at The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, Dr. Taylor led with vision, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to the student experience. His leadership has shaped innovative academic models, fostered interdisciplinary collaboration, and secured millions in external funding to support healthcare transformation.

With experience as Dean, department chair, and Vice President at multiple academic health centers and as a tenured professor of pharmacotherapy, Dr. Taylor brings a unique blend of strategic oversight and hands-on academic experience. His education includes a PharmD from Auburn University, residency training at Duke University Medical Center, and executive development at Harvard University. A Fellow of the National Academies of Practice, Dr. Taylor is dedicated to guiding today’s faculty and administrators in shaping a more dynamic, equitable, and impactful future for health profession education.
